One Rosebud resident was killed and another injured in a two-vehicle wreck that occurred in Gasconade County on Thursday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2016 Jeep Latitude driven by 29-year-old Danton C. Clark crossed the center line on Highway 50 near Roethmeyer Road at 6:35 a.m. and struck an eastbound 2004 Chevy Silverado driven by 59-year-old Dale D. Kurrelmeyer, head on.

Kurrelmeyer suffered serious injuries, and was flown by Arch to Mercy Hospital in Creve Couer for medical treatment. He was wearing a seat belt.

Clark was pronouncded dead at the scene by Gerald Ambulance District Paramedic Gary Wilson at 7:02 a.m. Clark was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Both vehicles were totaled.

This was Troop F's fifth fatality for June and the 25th for 2020.
