One Man Injured in Boat Fire at Lake of the Ozarks

A 47-year old man was injured at the Lake of the Ozarks on Monday night after his boat caught fire.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident just before 7:00, at the 24 mile marker on the main channel in Camden County.

According to the online incident report, Dan E. Hall, of Sunrise Beach, started the vessel after refueling, causing fumes to ignite.

Hall suffered moderate injuries in the accident and was taken to Lake Regional hospital for treatment.

The boat sustained extensive damage.
