One Man Injured in Marshall Wreck

A 67-year old Marshall man suffered minor injuries Thursday afternoon when his vehicle overturned in Saline County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at 2:45, on Route H, east of Lilac Avenue.

According to the online crash report, a westbound 2004 Toyota traveled off the right side of the roadway The driver over-corrected and the Toyota returned to the road, over-corrected again, causing the vehicle to cross the center line and travel off the left side of the road. The Toyota them impacted a ditch and overturned onto its top.

The driver, 67-year old Michael E. Tichenor, received minor injuries in the wreck. Tichenor was treated and released at the scene, according to the report.

The Toyota sustained moderate damage in the accident and was towed.
