Otterville Teenager Injured in Vehicle Accident

A 14-year-old Otterville girl was injured Tuesday evening in a traffic accident.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident around 7:30, on Route BB, just south of Clinton Street in Cooper County.

The driver of a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado, 16-year-old Sean D. Langton, made a left turn onto Route BB from Clinton Street. According to the report, 14-year-old Alexis R. Lee was riding on the rear bumper, and she was ejected when the truck turned.

Lee suffered moderate injuries in the accident and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.
