Patricia Anne Dittmer, 65, of Concordia, MO, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012, at Kansas City Hospice House after a courageous battle with kidney cancer.

Tricia was born April 7, 1947, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of William F. and Elizabeth Hunholz Baldwin. She was a member of the first graduating class at Truman High School in 1965. Tricia was married to Dennis E. Brown on September 25, 1965. The marriage ended in divorce in 1978. On April 28, 1979, Tricia was united in marriage to Donald Dittmer, who survives of the home. Tricia had lived in Concordia since 1979 where she was a homemaker and florist. She was a charter member of the Concordia Frau Lions Club. Her church membership was at St. John United Church of Christ, Emma, where she was also a member of the choir and Lay Fellowship.

In addition to her husband, Donald; she is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Gower of Concordia, MO; by five children: Andrea Gillit and husband Les of Lubbock, TX; Troy Brown of Concordia, MO; Eric Brown and partner Jim Sinclair of St. Louis, MO; Dr. Joel Dittmer of Rolla, MO; and Rebekah Martin and husband Tom of Kansas City, MO; five grandchildren: Carter and Hayden Brown, Quinten Lanier, Liam Martin, and Ella Gillit; one brother, Ed Baldwin of Concordia, MO; two sisters, Kay Dittmer of Emma, MO and Madge McClure-Lafferty of Clearwater, FL; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Tricia was preceded in death by her father and stepfather, Cecil Gower.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at St. John UCC in Emma with Pastor Tim Biesemeyer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia. Memorials in Tricia's honor are suggested to St. John UCC or St. John Cemetery.
