Saturday, March 09, 2013 9:13 PM Paul Edwin Bremer, 61, of Sedalia, passed away, Friday, March 8, 2013 at University Hospital, Columbia.  He was born on May 24, 1951, in Sedalia, a son of Jimmie and Henrietta (Simon) Bremer.

On November 7, 1998 in Poplar Bluff, MO he was united in marriage to Janie Nelson, who survives of the home.   He enjoyed being in the mountains, hiking and camping.  He loved being with his friends and family and never met a stranger.  Paul was an avid Denver Broncos fan and loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Paul Michael Bremer and his wife Hilary of Salt Lake City, UT; his mother, Henrietta Bremer of Hughesville; one brother Jeff Bremer of Sedalia; one brother-in-law, Rick Lewis of Hughesville; one sister-in-law, Carol Bremer of Sedalia;  six nieces and nephews; and eight great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; a daughter, Kristen Lynn Bremer; a sister, Cathy Lewis and a brother, Jim Bremer.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Minister Chris Harper officiating.

Burial will be at Browns Chapel Cemetery, Broseley, MO.   Visitation will be 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the funeral chapel.   Memorials may be made to the Alex and Bryce Fund, in care of the funeral chapel.
