Rex Madison Morrill age 73 of Sedalia passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014. He was born on December 15, 1941 in Gallatin, Missouri son of Loren and Daisy Watson Morrill. Rex attended school in Hamilton, Missouri. He was a supervisor at Waterloo Industries for almost thirty years.

He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Sedalia. He enjoyed racing cars and got the opportunity to drive Richard Petty's Car for a few laps at the Kansas Speedway. He also liked to hunt and fish. Rex loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his companion; Doris Horton of Sedalia, three sisters; Jana Potter of Molalla, Oregon, Billie Spangler of Manilla, Iowa, Norma Gilgour of Chillicothe, Missouri, one brother; Jack Morrill of Breckenridge, Missouri, one daughter; Melody Morrill of Sedalia, two sons; Jody Morrill of Sedalia and Toby Morrill of Windsor. He was preceded in death by a sister; Carolyn Rich.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Faith Baptist Church in Sedalia with Rev. Dan Hankins officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30 P.M.

until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home. Burial will be at 1:30 P.M.

Wednesday at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery south and east of Hamilton, Missouri on "U" Highway. Serving as pallbearers will be Zane Reeser, Jack Benton, Bradley Markell, Brandon Markell, Ernie Walker and Jack Hockett. Honorary pallbearer will be Sadie Reeser.
