Robert Cecil Mossman, 78, of rural Lincoln, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at his home.  He was born on October 29, 1934, at Eldorado Springs, Missouri, a son of Eugene Leroy and Beatrice (Hendrick) Mossman.   Bob graduated from Raymore High School.  He was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Barrett and this union was blessed with the gift of four children:  David Wayne, Danny Lee, Donald Dean, and Debra Ann.  He was later married to Patricia Stanton and this union was blessed with a daughter, Robin Rae.   For eleven years, he was an assistant manager for Safeway and Milgrams.  Bob then went to work for Ironworkers Union Local #10 in Kansas City.  In 1990, he retired and moved to rural Lincoln near Sagrada Beach, where he enjoyed being on the lake and fishing.  He was an active member of the Countryside Eagles Lodge #4286 of rural Lincoln.   He is survived by: two daughters, Debra Ann Mincher of Jefferson City and Robin Rae Diibon of Independence; three sons, David Wayne Mossman of Merriam, KS, Danny Lee Mossman of Stover, and Donald Dean Mossman of Smithville; one step-daughter, Cheryl Lawrence of Roeland Park, KS; one step-son, Larry Slaughter of Roeland Park, KS; one sister, Roberta Jean Knox of Kansas City; one brother, Buddy Lee Mossman of Santa Fe, New Mexico;  numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Beatrice Mossman, his wife, Nancy Mossman, one sister, Donna Jo, and one brother, Ronald Dean.   Private memorial services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.
