Roy Lee Case Jr., 72, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at his home.

He was born April 14, 1943, in Tacoma, WA, son of the late Roy Lee Sr. and Christina M. Harding Case.

On January 20, 1973, in Sedalia, he married Barbara Jean Straka, who survives of the home.

Roy worked as the yard foreman for Herman Lumber. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, camping, woodworking and dancing.

In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Michelle Moore, of Smithton; a granddaughter, Rebecca Case, of Sedalia; two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Kayleigh Portwood; a sister, Sandy Diemler, of Lee’s Summit; two brothers, Dennis Case, of Lee’s Summit, and Tom Case, of Kansas City; and his puppy, Sassy.

The family will hold a celebration of life in the fall.

Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
