On Thursday January 29, 2015 the Drug Enforcement Unit, and the Criminal Investigations Bureau along with Patrol Officers, and the K9 Unit of the Sedalia Police Department executed a no-knock drug related search at 801 East 12th. Two adult subjects were detained, and the K9 Unit performed a sniff of the residence. The K9 alerted to the presence of illegal drugs in numerous places in the residence, and a further search revealed significant amounts of cocaine, low and high grade marijuana, marijuana concentrates, drug paraphernalia, and drug packaging supplies and materials. The police report states some of the high grade marijuana located originated from marijuana dispensaries in Colorado, and transported back to Sedalia. Additional evidence was gathered that indicated marijuana, and cocaine were being distributed from the residence by the two residents living in the home.

Also located in the home were manufacturing equipment, Supplies and chemicals to produce highly concentrated marijuana “Wax” and “Shatter” both which contain high levels of Tetrahydrocannabinol or (THC), the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana. Hazardous materials were collected and released to the Sedalia Fire Department for Disposal.

The police report states $3100 in cash was seized as drug profit.

Arrested at the scene were the two people detained.

At the time of the police report 23-year-old Samuel D. Woolery II, and 22-year-old Chelsea J. Klein were  in the Pettis County Jail pending bonds of $150,000 for Woolery, and $50,000 on Klein for charges of:

Drug Trafficking 2nd Degree (Cocaine)
Possession of Cocaine
Possession of Marijuana with intent to Distribute
Possession of Marijuana
Manufacturing a controlled substance (Marijuana Concentrates)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
