Sedalia Police crime reports 7-27-17

Sedalia Police arrested Shaun Clinton Paxton, 39, homeless, on a Pettis County warrant for harassing communication on Monday afternoon. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $10,000 cash or surety bond


 

Alhana S. Leonard, 20, Sedalia, was arrested for shoplifting at Kohl's Department store Tuesday afternoon after store management says she left the store without paying for concealed items. She was taken to the Sedalia Police Department, where she was fingerprintered and later released with a Municipal court summons.


 

Kevin Joseph Hontz, 28, La Monte, was arrested on two Pettis County warrants on Wednesday morning. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $250 cash bond and a $1500 cash or surety bond. He now has a court date of Aug. 1.


 

On Tuesday afternoon, Linda Louise Elgin reported that someone broke into her house and stole multiple items worth $1,750 and also damaged property inside the home. No contact has yet been made with the suspects.


 

On Monday, Tiffany Napier of Sedalia reported her purse was stolen from her car sometime between 11:45 and 12:45 while parked at Casey's, 1601 E. Broadway. Contained in the purse were her driver's license, Social Security card, four debit cards and $4.


 

On Tuesday, Aaron's, 1200 S. Limit, reported that payment on a TV leased to a customer has not been made since March. Management was unable to contact the suspect, according to the report.


 

And Pettis County deputies arrested Dylan Seevers on a active warrant Wednesday afternoon.
