Here's your Monday morning crime report for Monday, May 14, 2012.

Friday afternoon at 4:05 p.m., Sedalia Police and Sedalia Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 1300 Block of South Kentucky. The rear uninhabited detached garage at 1319 South Kentucky was engulfed in flames and a 1998 Chevy Blazer parked near the garage received extensive damage. Another garage, across the alley, at 1316 South Osage was damaged too. In addition, an ember of the fire started a roof fire at 1309 South Kentucky. The Sedalia Fire Department put the fires out, but Sedalia Police are investigating the fires as a possible case of arson.

Early yesterday morning at 3:31 a.m., Sedalia Police went to the intersection of West 3rd and South Quincy for a report of a disturbance with weapons. Subjects stated that prior to Sedalia Police's arrival, five suspects were involved in a fight. One subject used a bat and struck another suspect. APSI responded to the scene and transported one suspect with moderate injuries to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

A woman on Highway B reported to Pettis County Deputies that she has been harassed.

A woman in the 19000 Block of Highway EE reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone damaged her 2000 Volvo while parked in her driveway between 10pm on Saturday and 7 last night.

A woman in the 300 Block of East Saline reported to Sedalia Police that her home was broken into and a television, microwave, boombox, and several DVD's were stolen between April 18th and May 2nd.

A man in the 1200 Block of East Broadway reported a battery missing and a positive and negative cables were cut from a Craftsman riding mower on May 11th. There were $75 in damages.

Sedalia Police arrested Benjamin Brown for driving while suspended and a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $2500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Derek Jackson for a Saline County warrant, bond set at $1500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Samuel Watson for two failure to appear charges, with bond set at $350 cash and also being in possession of marijuana.

Sedalia Police arrested Robert Ronspiez for an open container, bond set at $132.

Sedalia Police arrested Christopher Gardner for a failure to appear charge from the city from not having a license, bond set at $88.50 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Jonathan Johnson for a city warrant, bond set at $88.50 cash only.

Sedalia Police arrested William Recor for a failure to appear charge of driving while suspended, bond set at $50 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Marvin Spruell for a failure to appear on an assault charge.

Sedalia Police arrested John Yager for driving while revoked.

Sedalia Police arrested Carol Cross for driving while suspended.

Sedalia Police arrested Kenton Chastain for driving while revoked.

Pettis County Deputies stopped 20-year old Mykyta Surgay for a traffic violation on Saturday and arrested her for driving while intoxicated and other traffic violations.
