The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Wednesday, August 6, 2014.

Sedalia Police Assist Cooper County Sheriff's Department

Sedalia Police investigated a child abuse case, that brought the child to Bothwell Regional Health Center. Sedalia Police found that incident in question, occurred in Cooper County over the last few months. The Sedalia Police report was sent to the Cooper County Sheriff's Department for further investigation.

Numerous Thefts Reported From Vehicls and Homes

A woman in the 1300 Block of South Limit reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a company laptop, between August 1 and 4.

A woman in the 400 Block of West Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that someone used her ATM card and withdrew $70 from her checking account.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole his debit card outside of the city near a swimming hole and reported that theft to Pettis County Deputies, however the debit card was used on August 2 at the Murphy USA gas station.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole an orange boys bike and chain from the house, between 1 and 10 am on August 4.

A man in the area of 32nd Street and Oake Brooke reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole a stereo and hand tools, valued at $450, from his vehicle on August 4 or 5.

A man in the 2500 Block of North Woodlawn Drive reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole $5 in change, an owner's manual and Kansas City strip club passes, yesterday (August 5).

A woman in the 27000 Block of Purchase Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that several items were stolen from out buildings, between July 28 and August 5, 2014.

Four Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Stephen Fletcher for failure to appear-felony, bond set at $3,500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Emry Williamson for failure to appear, bond set at $150.

Sedalia Police arrested Robert Winborn for failure to appear from the Jamestown Police Department, bond set at $100 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Jordan Rhodes for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50.

A man in the 1400 Block of South Kentucky reported to Sedalia Police that he found a large box with multiple envelopes on August 5.
