Several Thefts Reported to Sedalia Police Over the Weekend

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that her Net Spend card was stolen and used at several Sedalia locations.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that he lost his wallet on Feb. 4 and someone used his debit card at two locations between Feb. 4 and 7.

An employee of Polished Nails and Spa, at 805 Thompson, reported to Sedalia Police that someone shattered the front glass door of the business and left through the rear door of the business on Feb. 7.

Employees of Casey's, at 3500 West 16th, reported to Sedalia Police that there was a $51.77 gas drive off on Feb. 9.

Sedalia Police Responds to a Hit-and-Run Accident

Last night (Feb. 9), Sedalia Police received a report of an accident at the intersection of Curry and Broadway. The striking vehicle left the scene of the accident while Sedalia Police were in route.

Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's Make Several Arrests Over the Weekend

Sedalia Police arrested Cody Holloway for driving while suspended, probation violation, two failure to appears and a warrant, total bond set at $20,200.

Sedalia Police arrested Derek Thomas for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance, bond set at $5,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Sean Maull for failure to appear and a warrant, bond set at $3,650.

Sedalia Police arrested Brandon Markell for a warrant, bond set at $3,500.

Sedalia Police arrested Glen Van Vactor for failure to appear, bond set at $500.

Sedalia Police arrested Sherry Hayes for burglary in the 2nd, property damage in the 2nd and trespassing in the 2nd.

Sedalia Police arrested Shawna Ivy for burglary in the 2nd and stealing.

Sedalia Police arrested Juan Zacarias for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, failure to signal on turns and identity theft.

Sedalia Police arrested Michael Richeson for a parole violation.

Sedalia Police arrested Loyd Green for driving while suspended.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Jeffrey Purvis on an active Pettis County warrant
