The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s crime reports are from the morning of Friday, May 8, 2015.
A man reported to Sedalia Police that five storage sheds were broken into at Easy-Stor Storage, at 3025 Clinton Road and three people reported to Sedalia Police that somebody broke into their storage units at Southwest Storage Units at 3505 Green Ridge Road and caused property damage on the night of May 6 or morning of May 7.
Yesterday (May 7), Sedalia Police went to the area of 17th and Moniteau on a report of a burglary. The victim reported to Sedalia Police that a window of the door had been broken in and the glass was scattered on the floor.
Pettis County Deputies received a report that somebody slashed two tires on his truck in the 22000 Block of Dorrance Drive.
A woman reported to Sedalia Police that someone used her information to obtain services through Charter Communications.
Sedalia Police investigated a shoplifting case at Walmart on May 7. A man tried on a pair of boots and walked out of the store, while wearing them. A Walmart employee made contact with the suspect. The man returned the boots and then fled the store.
Pettis County Deputies received a report that two license plates were stolen in the 33000 Block of Welliver Road, yesterday.
Pettis County Deputies responded to the area of Anderson School Road and U Highway, yesterday morning (May 7), in reference to a vehicle accident that occurred. The unnamed driver, suffered minor injuries and was taken by family to the Bothwell Regional Health Center Emergency Room for medical attention.
Sedalia Police took possession of a pair of new issue license plates that were found near 14th and Beacon.
Sedalia Police arrested Ashley Ransdell for failure to appear, bond set at $50.
Sedalia Police arrested Robert Martin for a drug violation for possession of other dangerous non-narcotic drugs.
Sedalia Police arrested Justin Schroder for driving while suspended.
Sedalia Police arrested John Yager for driving while suspended.
