The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Friday, September 11, 2015.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of shots fired in the 24000 Block of Manila Road last night.

Sedalia Police received a report of a man that may do harm to himself on Wednesday (September 9). The suspect was found in the county and led Pettis County Deputies and the Missouri State Highway Patrol on a chase. The suspect drove north on Highway 65 and law enforcement used stop stick devices to stop the car. The man was taken into custody, transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center and then was brought to a mental hospital for a 96-hour committal.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that someone forged a check of his and used it at Casey's for $28.97.

An employee of Casey's at 3050 South Limit reported to Sedalia Police that someone drove off with 13.39 gallons of fuel.

A mail carrier was bit by a dog that jumped a fence in the area of South Ingram and East 9th on August 31. The carrier received treatment at Bothwell Regional Health Center. The dog's owner released ownership of the dog and received a court summons of October 14.

Sedalia Police investigated a hit and run accident that occurred in the area of South Kentucky and West 18th. A man noticed damage to the front end of his vehicle, yesterday (September 10).

Pettis County Deputies arrested Mark Hubbard for having a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $1,500 cash or surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Jason Butler for a Clay County failure to appear, bond set at $350 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested David Bennett for failure to appear-felony, possession of a controlled substance and concealing a substance in the county jail.

Sedalia Police arrested William Ash Jr. for driving while suspended.
