Several Thefts Reported Over Weekend

A man reported to Sedalia Police that he had given a bad money order after selling a set of 22" rims to a man in Independence. The victim gave the suspect the rims and the suspect gave the victim a Western Union money order for $1,000 that was found to longer be valid.

A woman in the area of East 7th and South Washington reported to Sedalia Police that her EBT card was missing and $300 had been used on it between July 11 and 19.

A victim in the 1100 Block of East 15th reported to Sedalia Police that a known suspect stole his gaming system and games valued at $200 between July 11 and 16.

A woman in the 800 Block of McVey Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that there was a burglary and items were stolen.

Pettis County Deputies took a report of an attempted burglary in the 20000 Block of Butterbaughford Road between July 16 and 19.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that his Net10 cell phone was either missing or stolen between July 15 and 18.

Pettis County Deputies Respond to An Assault

Pettis County Deputies responded to the 24000 Block of Highway 765 for a physical domestic disturbance between two brothers. Pettis County Deputies arrested Richard Aldrich.

Several Arrests Made Over Weekend

Sedalia Police arrested Bradley Ballenger for a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $5,000 surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Jacob Roark for driving while intoxicated, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Key Curtis for failure to appear for having defective equipment, bond set at $200.

Sedalia Police arrested Timothy Lemaire for a parole and probation warrant and city warrant, bond set at $150 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Shawna Akers for having an Eldon Municipal warrant, bond set at $29.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Alicia Hill for burglary in the 1st, driving while suspended and three counts of theft.

Sedalia Police arrested Cheri Lambert for possession of meth, drug paraphernalia and driving while revoked.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Michael Taylor for driving on a revoked license and possession of marijuana.

Sedalia Police arrested Corey Grigsby for driving while suspended.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Timothy Busker of Hughesville for an outstanding warrant.
