The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Friday, July 25, 2014.

Sedalia Police Investigate Several Thefts

Early this morning (July 25), Sedalia Police went to the 500 Block of West 6th for a report of a theft. A victim stated that she was gone, between July 16 and 24, someone entered home and stole a television, $37 in change and DVDs, all valued at $237.

A woman in the 3000 Block of South Limit reported to Sedalia Police that someone took $15.50 from her account, yesterday (July 24).

An employee of Casey's, at 3050 South Limit, reported to Sedalia Police that there was a $5.02 gas drive off.

A man in the 1400 Block of South Kentucky reported to Sedalia Police that a small dog ran up to him and nipped at him.

Several Arrests Made

Pettis County Deputies arrested 20-year-old Skyler Ray, following an investigation into the assault and robbery of Kyle Lindgren. Ray was later charged with, robbery in the 2nd degree, Class B felony and assault in the 3rd degree, class A Misdemenaor. Ray is currently being held in the Pettis County Jail pending the posting of a $50,000 charge.

Sedalia Police arrested Timothy Smith for careless driving, driving while suspended, no proof of insurance, resisting arrest, leaving the scene of an accident, unlawful use of a weapon, 2nd degree property damage, displaying the plates of another person and a parole violation.

Sedalia Police arrested Brandon Ulmer and Jessica Seeley for three counts of stealing.

Sedalia Police arrested Sheila Carwile for a municipal summons for possession of drug paraphernalia.
