Sedalia Police Investigate Crime Involving a Knife

On Wednesday afternoon (June 26), Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1600 Block of East 7th for a reported assault with a weapon. The victim said his son pulled a knife on him and left the house. Sedalia Police found the suspect a few blocks from the scene. Zachery Fox was arrested and charged for unlawful use of a weapon, domestic assault in the 3rd and burglary in the 1st.

A woman in the 3000 Block of West Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that she was assaulted on June 25.

Pettis County Deputies responded to a report of a disturbance in the 2800 Block of South Ingram yesterday afternoon.

Several Thefts Reported

A man in the 600 Block of South Lafayette, reported to Sedalia Police that his 1996 STAV 12x7 foot dump trailer valued at $1500 was stolen between 10 p.m. on June 25 and 10 a.m. on June 26.

A man in the 2200 Block of South Missouri reported to Sedalia Police that a Nintendo Wii and other items were stolen from his home sometime since Dec. 1, 2012.

A man in the 300 Block of East Main reported to Sedalia Police that someone threw bricks through several windows of his property between June 24 and 27.

A man in the 100 Block of East Chestnut reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole his license plates.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that while she was at the Pettis County Juvenile Office, she found someone put a large amount of human hair into her vehicle's exhaust between noon and 2:43 p.m. on June 25.

Two Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Kent Cline for forgery and possession of a controlled substance, bond set at $7,500.

Sedalia Police arrested Deidre Harding for stealing and being a minor in possession, total bond set at $1,067.
