The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Monday, January 5, 2015.

Sedalia Police Investigate Report Of Sexual Misconduct

Sedalia Police investigated a reported case of sexual misconduct and a private peace disturbance that happened in the 2900 Block of West Broadway.

Several Thefts and Property Damage Reports

A woman in the area of East 13th and South Marvin, reported to Sedalia Police yesterday (Jan. 4), that she was approached by someone who wanted to buy her broken down car. The woman said the person was to pay her a certain amount and pickup the title. The victim then saw that her 1983 Oldsmobile Delta 88 was missing and thought the person that made the offer, may have stolen the vehicle.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that somebody stole his 1999 Jeep Cherokee on Saturday (Jan.3). The vehicle was later found and had $1,300 in damages.

A man in the 700 Block of North Osage reported to Sedalia Police that someone damaged the ignition/steering column of his vehicle.

Sedalia Police received a report on Saturday (Jan. 3) from three victims in a home in the 1100 Block of South Massachusetts, that tools and clothing, valued at $1,045, were stolen from the home, between 8 and 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 3.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that the rear plate of his 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee, valued at $75, was stolen between 3 p.m. on Jan. 1 and 3 p.m. on Jan. 3.

A woman in the 1600 Block of East 4th reported to Sedalia Police that her daughter's 20-inch Kent girls bicycle, valued at $79, was stolen from her yard.

A woman in the 1700 Block of West 16th reported to Sedalia Police that someone damaged her door, between 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 3.

Pettis County Deputies responded to the 27000 Block of Southwood Lane for a report of property damage that happened on Saturday (Jan. 3).

Two Accidents Investigated

Sedalia Police received a report of a hit and run accident that happened in the area of Broadway and Grand on Sunday (Jan. 4). The victim said that her vehicle was rear ended and then the other vehicle drove off. The victim's vehicle had minor damage done to the rear end.

Pettis County Deputies investigated a minor vehicle accident that happened on private property in the 31000 Block of Providence Road on Jan. 3. There were no injuries and only a minor scrape to one of the vehicles involved.

Seven Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Kimberly Stout for failure to appear-felony, bond set at $10,000.

Sedalia Police arrested Shawn Morton for making a loud noise for yelling obscenities and failure to obey police, bond set at $1,067 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Johnathon Cunningham for driving while suspended, bond set at $533.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Araceli Cano Rodriguez for failure to appear-misdemeanor, bond set at $500.

Sedalia Police arrested Joshua Marriott for driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.

Sedalia Police issued a summons to Austin Stiles for having an open container.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Douglas Bolejack for trespassing.
