The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Monday, November 3, 2014.

Sedalia Police Investigate Kidnapping Case

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that she was abducted on Friday (Oct. 31), for the purpose of taking her to another city to make her give up her social security money through her debit card. The case was referred to the other city, since the crime happened outside of Sedalia and Sedalia Detectives will coordinate the reports.

Pettis County Deputies Received Report of Sexual Assault And Harassment

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a sexual assault that occured on the night of November 1.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a case of harassment in the 3100 Block of Elsie Drive.

Several Property Damage Cases and Thefts Reported

A man reported property damage in the 2100 Block of East 7th. Someone keyed his vehicle and slashed the convertible top on Nov. 1.

A man in the 200 Block of East 2nd reported to Sedalia Police that his car was keyed, causing $366.45 in damages, between 2:30 and 6 Friday morning (Oct. 31).

A woman in the 2400 Block of Clinton Road reported to Sedalia Police that someone damaged her fenceline on November 2.

Pettis County Deputies received a report that someone struck a vehicle with eggs on Thursday, October 30, in the 1400 Block of East 37th Street.

An employee of Breaktime, at 808 East Broadway, reported that there was a $58.81 gas drive off.

An employee of Breaktime, at 1510 North Ohio, reported to Pettis County Deputies that there was a gas drive off yesterday (Nov. 2).

An employee of Wood's Express reported to Sedalia Police that there was a gas drive off on Saturday (Nov. 1).

A small air soft handgun was found near a bench at the Katy Depot.

Nine Arrests Made

Pettis County Deputies arrested Cassandra Brister for having a Johnson County warrant, bond set at $2000 cash only.

Sedalia Police arrested Leon Hinckley for possession of synthetic narcotics, drug paraphernalia and a drug violation for possession of marijuana-misdemeanor.

Sedalia Police arrested Brandon Bom for possession of marijuana misdemeanor and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sedalia Police arrested Ryan Wright for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sedalia Police arrested Jason Mueller for driving while intoxicated-persisten offender.

Sedalia Police arrested Virgil Hinton for driving while suspended.

Sedalia Police arrested Miguel Alejo-Rubio for a Pettis County warrant for aggravated assault-family, no bond was set.

Sedalia Police arrested Bresly Soel for domestic assault in the 3rd.

Sedalia Police arrested Jose Rodriguez-Talabera for having an open container and operating a motor vehicle without a license.
