The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Thursday, September 4, 2014.

Several Thefts Reported

Pettis County Deputies received a reported case of identity theft. A person that just moved from another state, reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone had used their identity in the Sedalia area.

A man in the 1200 Block of South Carr, reported to Sedalia Police that an audio system he rented, valued at $1,619.92 was stolen.

A man in the 1100 Block of East 11th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole $12.50 in items from his pickup truck, between Aug. 30 and Sept. 3.

A woman in the 20000 Block of McCubbin Road of Hughesville reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone may have trespassed on her property, yesterday (Sept. 3).

Pettis County Deputies Investigate Dog Bite

A woman in the 23000 Block of Mather Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that she was bit by a dog, yesterday (Sept. 3).

Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Find

Sedalia Police arrested 36-year-old Serena Baskins for a drug violation for possession of other dangerous non-narcotic drugs, after a traffic stop on Aug. 21 at West Pettis and North Missouri. Sedalia Police found three plastic baggies, which were later identified as meth.
