The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s crime reports are from the morning of Tuesday, December 16, 2014.

Several Thefts Reported

Sedalia Police received a report that someone stole a 2000 Ford Focus between 1 and 4 yesterday morning (Dec. 15), in the 1600 Block of West 11th.

Sedalia Police received a report of someone stealing $500 in property from a vehicle and caused property damage to a vehicle in the 900 Block of Winchester.

A man in the 700 Block of East 5th reported to Sedalia Police that someone had come into the home and took $80 worth of equipment.

A man in the 2400 Block of West Main reported to Sedalia Police that someone entered his apartment and stole several items. The apartment was ransacked and a door was damaged yesterday (Dec. 15).

A man in the 900 Block of East 4th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a crossbow, hammock and book bag with items from vehicle on the afternoon of Dec. 14.

Pettis County Deputies received a report from a person in the 26000 Block of Florence Road in Smithton, that a wheel was stolen yesterday (Dec. 15).

A man reported to Sedalia Police that he lost his wallet, with $35 in contents, yesterday (Dec. 15).

Sedalia Police received a report on Dec. 2 of dogs without shelter, food or water. Sedalia Police found two dogs without adequate shelter and frozen water in the bowls. Sedalia Police removed the dogs from the home and left a door notice for the owner.

Pettis County Deputies responded to a disturbance yesterday (Dec. 15), that happened in the 3200 Block of Lone Star Road.

Four Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Arnuflo Lopez for a Pettis County warrant for domestic assault in the 2nd, bond set at $5,000.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Becky Lynn Taylor for having active Pettis County warrants, bond set at $510.

Sedalia Police arrested Jacob Hull for a Sedalia Munipal failure to appear, bond set at $250 cash only and a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $217.

Sedalia Police arrested Leonard Pace for driving while suspended.
