Sedalia Police Investigate Two Assaults

Last night (July 14), Sedalia Police went to 2nd and Massachusetts on a disturbance. Sedalia Police found three men sitting on the ground and all three appeared to be stabbed. One man was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by the Pettis County Ambulance District, while the other two men refused treatment. All three men did not know who assaulted them.

A man in the 1600 Block of South Ohio reported to Sedalia Police that someone he knows assaulted him yesterday morning (July 14).

Several Thefts Reported

A man in the 400 Block of North Hurley reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole an Ipod 160gb, valued at $300, from his car.

A man in the 400 Block of East Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that two tablets, valued at $100 each, were stolen from his truck between 4 pm on July 11 and 10 pm on July 14.

A man reported to Pettis County Deputies that somebody stole property from his home in the 18000 Block of Ware Avenue in Green Ridge, between 5 pm on July 13 and 8:30 am on July 14.

A man reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole the license plates from his car, while it was parked at State Fair Community College, yesterday (July 14).

Three Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Mitchell Cairer for stealing a bottle of Vodka from Walmart, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Brandon McGee for domestic assault and active warrants out of Pettis, Benton and Morgan County.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Samantha Clawson for having Pettis County warrants.
