The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Wednesday, August 26, 2015.

Sedalia Police are investigating a reported case of sexual misconduct in the 800 Block of West Broadway. A child safe plan was made and the suspect was relocated.

A woman in the 2200 Block of West 1st Street Terrace reported to Sedalia Police someone stole her cell phone, valued at $100.

An employee of Casey's, at 3050 South Limit, reported to Sedalia Police there was a $40 gas drive off.

Sedalia Police investigated an attempted burglary early this morning (August 26), in the 1600 Block of East 5th.

A man reported to Sedalia Police yesterday afternoon (August 25), a male juvenile threw food on him damaging his shirt, while at the Katy Park Skate Park.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police she was the victim of a hit and run accident in the area of 16th and South Marvin, last night (August 25) at 6:45. The victim was traveling west on 16th Street, when a southbound vehicle on Marvin struck her vehicle. The suspect vehicle fled without providing information. The victim's vehicle had damage to the rear passenger side.

Sedalia Police arrested Tiffany Rettke for failure to appear-felony, bond set at $10,000 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Savannah Perez for a Saline County Failure to appear charge, bond set at $625.

Sedalia Police arrested Leon Johnson for driving while suspended and a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $150 cash.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Billy Harris for being a fugitive of justice out of Minnesota. Harris was placed a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail.

Sedalia Police arrested Kelly Capehart for burglary in the 1st and shoplifting from Walmart.

Sedalia Police arrested Corey Elder for stealing/shoplifting from Walmart and a drug violation for possession of marijuana-misdemeanor.
