On March 20 around 6:00 in the evening, in the 400 block of East Chestnut, Sedalia Police officers took a report of a theft. The victim had left the residence on March 16 and locked his shed. Upon returning home, on March 20, he noticed the lock had been cut off the shed. Various power tools and a computer were reported missing. The value of all missing items was placed at $5,345.00. There are no suspects at this time.

Around 9:15 in the evening on March 20, in the 1300 block of East 5th Street, there was a reported burglary. The victim, who is the landlord of the residence, was checking on the residence and discovered that the sheetrock on two rooms was completely torn off the walls, the ceiling was ripped down, wires were cut-out, and the furnace was pulled away from the wall. The estimated cost to repair the damage was placed at $3,500.00 - $4,000.00. There were no further details listed in that report.

Around 2:30 in the afternoon on March 20, officers took a report of another theft at Denny's, lcoated at 2401 West Broadway. The caller stated he was walking-by the business and was assaulted by an employee. During the altercation, his iPhone 6 Plus was reportedly taken. The value of the phone was placed at about $750.00. No further details were available at news time.

Just before 10:00 in the morning of March 20, in the 600 block of East 9th Street, there was another reported burglary and property damage. The complainant stated that someone had broke the Plexiglas window out of the back door on his residence.

Around 5:15 in the morning of March 16, police officers arrested 44-year old Erich Alan McEwen for a felony warrant out of Johnson County. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail with a bond of $3,500.00, cash or surety.

Around 5:20 in the morning on March 16, officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of South Lamine and East 7th Street for a defective license plate light. Upon contact and investigation, officers arrested 34-year old Crystal S. Watts for possession of methanphetamine and drug paraphenalia. Watts was transported to the Pettis County Jail with a bond set at $5,000.00, cash or surety.

On March 20, Pettis County Sheriff's deputies took a report of an illegal burning of buliding materials in the 22000 block of Route T in Pettis County.

Deputies were in a short vehicle pursuit on March 20, in the area of the 4700 block of South Limit, that turned into a foot pursuit. The suspect is identified as Ryan K. Clark of Hughesville. He was arrested on felony charges of driving while revoked and reisisting arrest.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Nathan A. Cramer in the area of the 500 block of West 2nd Street in Houstonia on March 19, on charges of 2nd degree domestic assault and unlawful use of a weapon.

Last week, on March 18, deputies arrested Roxanne Mowrey, of Latham, Missouri, for a warrant out of Morgan County for three counts of child abduction. Mowrey's bond was placed at $50,000.00.

On March 16, deputies also arrested William Moore for an active warrant.
