Pettis County Deputies Investigate case of animal neglect
Pettis County Deputies took a report of a possible case of animal neglect that occurred in the 1900 Block of Rissler Road.
Yesterday morning (Dec. 25), a woman reported to Sedalia Police that she was walking alone in an alley near the 100 Block of South Ohio when she was struck in the head by a bottle. The victim said that two suspects then stole her wallet containing $439 in cash and a cell phone.
Yesterday morning (Dec. 25), Sedalia Police went to the 2200 Block of South Ingram for a rollover accident. The occupant of the vehicle was trapped inside, requiring firemen to use hydraulic rescue tools to free the man inside.

The occupant, Jose Villafana, was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatmen and was later charged with driving while intoxicated.

Employees at Breaktime at 318 West Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that there was a $15 gas drive off early this morning (Dec. 26).
Sedalia Police received a reported case of harassment in Sedalia via phone on Dec. 24 at 9:40 p.m.
Sedalia Police arrested Esteban Tolentino for driving without an operators license and careless & imprudent driving, bond set at $642.50 cash/surety.
Sedalia Police arrested Carolyn Denny for shoplifting from Walmart.
