Friday morning (August 10), Sedalia Police received a report from a man in the 400 Block of East 6th as an unknown man had taken a payroll check out of his mailbox located on the front of his residence and then drove away.

A man on Whitfield Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that a box of tools, valued at $300, had been removed from the maintenance area of Tyson Foods sometime between July 7 and August 3.

A man in the 2800 Block of South Ingram reported to Pettis County Deputies that a person known to him fraudently used his banking card without his consent on June 29.

Saturday (August 11), Pettis County Deputies were dispatched to Westlake Drive for property damage. A man reported that a garage window and screen had been broken and removed from the residence. Nothing was taken and an unknown amount of damages were done to the windows.

A man in the 3000 Block of Ball Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that there were some sections of fence missing.

Pettis County Deputies received a report from the 21000 Block of Blackwater Chapel Road in reference to a stealing report. A man reported that at 5:30 A.M. Saturday, he noticed several tools were taken from the machine shed.

Yesterday (August 12), Pettis County Deputies were called to the 3900 Block of Suburban Lane for a juvenile matter. The investigation was forwarded to the Pettis County Juvenile Office for investigation.

Friday morning (August 10), Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at East 3rd and South Lamine as it had a defective headlight. Sedalia Police arrested Jeremiah Jones for Pettis County warrant for property damage, bond set at $3,500 cash/surety and Cary Longie was arrested for possession of prohibited weapon/brass knuckles.

Sedalia Police arrested Matthew Duran for driving while intoxicated, bond set at $531.50.

Sedalia Police arrested William Fizer for a failure to appear, bond set at $165.30.

Sedalia Police arrested Peter Clawson for a Benton County warrant, bond set at $150 cash only.

Sedalia Police arrested Carlos Staten for a Sedalia warrant, bond set at $88.50 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Brandon McKee for possession of marijuana and having a controlled substance.

Sedalia Police arrested Nathan Dotson for shoplifting over $150 in items from Wal-Mart.

Sedalia Police arrested Angela Hicks for stealing over $30 from Wal-Mart and also a burglary.

Pettis County Deputies arrested 45-year old Roy Rife for a warrant out of Johnson County for failure to appear.

Sedalia Police arrested Maria DeAquino for driving while suspended.

Sedalia Police arrested Robert Harrison for failure to appear.

Sedalia Police arrested Jose Capetillo-Ortiz for having a warrant from immigration and customs enforcement.

Denny's reported to Sedalia Police that three people left without paying for a $29.43 bill.
