Yesterday, Sedalia Police went to the Dollar General under construction at 619 North Ohio in reference to a burglary. An employee of Copeland Construction and Brower Electric reported that between 7 p.m. on June 11 and 8 a.m. on June 12 that suspects made entry into the building and stole three 100-foot extension cords, two single stand lights, one 14-inch mud pan, three scraping tools, one gray Centurion 3250 generator.  These items were valued at over $550.

A man in the 3400 Block of South Grand reported to Sedalia Police that some people came to the backyard and disconnected or cut wires leading to the telephone box. Two outdoor light fixtures had been taken down and light bulbs were stolen.

A woman in the 1800 Block of East 22nd reported to Sedalia Police that three members of the family have had cash and property stolen and they suspect another family member is to blame.

A man in the 800 Block of Thompson Boulevard reported to Sedalia Police that someone keyed his car between May 29 and June 11.

A man in the 700 Block of West 5th reported to Sedalia Police that someone removed the trim along the side of his vehicle on either June 11 or 12.

Pettis County Deputies went to the 2600 Block of Dogwood Court on a report that someone gained entry into the house and car and stole a purse during the overnight hours of June 11 through 12.

A woman in the 1600 Block of East 10th reported a case of trespassing. Yesterday morning, she went to bed, and when she woke up at 10 a.m. She discovered that all the window screens had been raised as if to try and gain access into the house.

A woman in the 1400 Block of East 3rd reported to Sedalia Police that she was assaulted on June 11.

Sedalia Police went to the 600 Block of East 5th in regards to an animal check on June 6. Sedalia Police made contact with the subject as the dog strangled herself.

A woman in the 700 Block of East 5th reported to Sedalia Police that a cat came into the house and bit her.

Last night, Sedalia Police made contact with two subjects in the Sedalia Police lobby in regards to an issue over vehicle ownership.

Sedalia Police arrested Courtney Hughes for possession of drug paraphernalia, bond set at $531.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Jeremy Lees for driving while suspended.

Sedalia Police arrested Charles Winsauer and Anthony Cason for driving while revoked.
