Here are your Sedalia Police crime reports and Pettis County sheriff's report for the morning of October 18, 2012.

Several thefts occur throughout the Sedalia area

A woman in the 700 Block of East 13th reported to Sedalia Police that on Tuesday (October 16) that somebody stole a purse, wallet, $500 in cash, and and iPod from a vehicle while it was parked behind her home.

A woman in the 1200 Block of West 9th reported to Sedalia Police that several concrete statues were stolen from her yard between October 3 and 16.

A woman in the 3300 Block of South Grand reported to Pettis County Deputies that there was a burglary sometime since September 2. Several items were taken from the home.

Sedalia Police went to the 200 Block of Scott Joplin Court for a report of possible crimes that occurred on the internet.

Pettis County Deputies Recover a Stolen Vehicle

The Pettis County Sheriff's Office recovered a stolen vehicle that was reported stolen out of Morgan County. The vehicle was located yesterday (October 17) behind the maintenance building of the Thompson Hills Shopping Center. The vehicle was later released to Morgan County Sheriff's Detectives.

Sedalia Police investigate a hit and run accident

Yesterday (October 17), Sedalia Police were dispatched to the area of West 10th and South Stewart. There was a two vehicle accident and one of the vehicles left the area without providing insurance or identity information. The remaining car had moderate damage done to the front end.

Sedalia Police investigate an assault

Sedalia Police went to the 1200 Block of East Broadway for a report of an assault that occurred last night (October 17). One subject told police that her son had been assaulted. An investigation was done at the scene and it was determined that the criminal elements were not present for the crime.

Sedalia Police make a couple of arrests

Sedalia Police arrested Tina Bradley for a Morgan County warrant, bond set at $500 cash only.

Sedalia Police arrested Katelyn Dawson for a municipal warrant, bond set at $88.50 cash only.
