Sedalia Police Investigate Runaway Child Report

Last night (June 13), Sedalia Police went to the 1100 Block of East 5th in reference to a runaway juvenile. The child had run away from the house and was found at the grandmother’s home. Sedalia Police are investigating the circumstances that brought him there.

Several Thefts and Property Damage Reported

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that a phone and box valued at $299 was stolen while she was at the license bureau on June 12.

A man in the 2900 Block of West Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that someone threw a rock through a large double pane glass on the east side of the building between 8 p.m. on June 12 and 10:30 a.m. on June 13.

A man in the 1000 Block of West 3rd reported to Sedalia Police that a truck had struck the side mirror of his parked vehicle last night (June 13).

A woman reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone keyed her car while in a driveway in the 3000 Block of Madow Wood Drive.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that his tire was punctured between June 7 and 11.

Several Items Found

Pettis County Deputies towed an abandoned 4-wheeler on Daviess Road yesterday (June 13).

A man in the 1100 Block of West 3rd reported to Sedalia Police that he found a bag that contained checks and other items at Liberty Park near the 2nd pavilion from the entrance.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that he found a single Ford key on a Joe Machens key ring laying on the ground in front of the Municipal Building.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Warren Clark Jr. for having a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $3,500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested William Franken for having a failure to appear charge for a Henry County assault, bond set at $500 cash/surety and theft from Walmart.

Sedalia Police arrested Branden Gilkey for having a Lafayette County warrant and driving while suspended, bond set at $250.

Sedalia Police arrested Rober Wilhite for failure to appear for a building code violation, bond set at $86.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Frederick Hampton for driving while suspended.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Steven Bartlett for an outstanding warrant.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Holly Boyer on a no bond parole violation warrant.
