Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports: Morning of October 1, 2012

Sedalia Police went to the 300 Block of East Saline for a report of a disturbance. On September 16, the caller said that a subject known to her drove through her yard and nearly struck her four-year-old daughter. The suspect and the suspect vehicle had left the area prior to Sedalia Police's arrival.

A man in the 2400 Block of Stacey Lane reported to Sedalia Police that his 2007 Cadillac DTS was hit by another vehicle between 5 p.m. September 28 and 5 p.m. September 30. The vehicle suffered at least $2,000 in damages.

A man from Knob Noster reported to Sedalia Police that his truck was struck in the 2400 Block of Margaret Avenue between 10 p.m. September 29 and 9 a.m. September 30.

A man in the 11000 Block of Stone Road in Lamonte reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone had stolen his Red 2002 Artic Cat ATV between September 16 and 30.

A woman in the 600 Block of West 2^nd reported to Sedalia Police that a Sanyo 52" TV was missing from a bedroom in the home. The television is valued at $1,500.

Pettis County Deputies took a report at the Pettis County Sheriff's Office in reference to identity theft.

Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle for having defective tail lights and a missing window. Sedalia Police approached the car and could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle. The passenger, Aaron Weber, was arrested for possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana.

Two license plates were found in a yard in the 2800 Block of East Broadway. The plates were reportedly stolen.

Breaktime at 2603 East Broadway reported to Sedalia Police there was a $30.01 gas drive off.

Pettis County Deputies responded to the 19000 Block of Highway EE in reference to a disturbance.

Sedalia Police arrested Tina Bradley for a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $2,500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Sherrell Peck for a probation violation out of Pettis County and a petition to revoke probation, bond was set at $500.

Sedalia Police arrested Janna Powell for driving while suspended.

Pettis County Deputies arrested 23-year old Michelle Clay on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of exceeding the posted speed limit.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Ismael Medrano on an outstanding warrant out of Pettis County.

Sedalia Police found a fishing rod, spool of fishing line and a plastic astray under a pine tree in the 700 Block of West 7^th.
