The following Sedalia Police crime reports are from the afternoon of Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014.

Early morning warrant check nets a man with two warrants

Just after 1:30 this morning, Sedalia Police responded to a residence in the 1800 Block of South Osage on a warrant check. Upon contact with the suspect, 27-year-old William Howe of the residence, a no-bond probation and parole warrant was confirmed. Howe was also found to have a failure to appear warrant out of Pettis County with a $50,000 bond. At the time of the police report, he was being held in the Pettis County Jail on the warrants.

Sedalia man arrested Wednesday afternoon during a domestic disturbance

At 4:46 Wednesday afternoon, Sedalia Police responded to a residence in the 1100 block of East 10th on a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers arrested 33-year-old Raul Martinez of the residence and took him to the Pettis County Jail pending a Prosecutor Review.

17-year-old Sedalia man in arrested for assault Wednesday afternoon

Around 4:15 Wednesday afternoon, Sedalia Police were called to the area of 32nd and Grand on an assault complaint. Upon arrival, officers arrested 17-year-old Juan Rodriguez of Sedalia and transported him to the Pettis County Jail. The police report also states a cell phone with video evidence was confiscated.

Revoked driver arrested at 12th and Garfield this morning

Just before 7:30 this morning, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at 12th and Garfield with a driver who was reportedly revoked. The driver identified as 43-year-old Anthony Driskell of Sedalia was arrested, taken to the Pettis County Jail and placed on 24-hour hold pending formal charges.

Three suspects arrested during a theft investigation at the Family Dollar 612 South Hancock

Around 7:15 Wednesday night, Sedalia police were dispatched to the Family Dollar at 612 South Hancock on a theft complaint. Upon arrival, officers arrested Robert Eugene Martin Jr.  of Sedalia for possession of a prescription drug and drug paraphernalia. Sheila Humphrey, 43, was arrested for shoplifting, possession of a synthetic drug and drug paraphernalia. Also arrested at the scene was 50-year-old Gina Marie Robinson of Sedalia on charges of possession of a synthetic narcotic. At the time of the police report, all three suspects were in the Pettis County Jail pending state charges.
