Sedalia Police Crime Reports: Afternoon of March 27, 2013
The following Sedalia Police crime reports are from the afternoon of Mar. 27, 2013.
At 2:43 Tuesday afternoon, Sedalia Police conducted a subject check at 5th and Engineer. The Sedalia Police report states during an investigation, the suspect identified as 25-year-old Michael Inman of Sedalia was in possession of drug paraphernalia and a concealable weapon. At the time of the police report, Iman was on 24-hour hold in the Pettis County jail pending charges.
Monday afternoon, Sedalia police took a theft from a motor vehicle complaint from a woman in the 700 block of Wilkerson Ave. According to the victim, someone stole her purse from her vehicle sometime overnight . The purse contained her social security card, credit and debit cards and some insurance paperwork. There was no information on a possible suspect at the time of the police report.
Sedalia Police took a missing person report from a woman, saying her daughter had run away. The daughter was located, and Sedalia Police found there were allegations of abuse. The child abuse hotline was notified and the criminal investigation unit will follow up on the case.
A woman in the 200 Block of East Saline reported to Sedalia Police that a Playstation 3, a controller and several games were stolen between 4 p.m. Yesterday (Mar. 26) and 1:30 this morning (Mar. 27).
Wood’s at 701 East Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that a suspect left the store without paying for an item. The suspect was not located.
Sedalia Police is investigating a case of assault that occurred in the 300 Block of South Lamine on Sunday, Mar. 24.
Pettis County Deputies are investigating a reported assault that occurred in Smithton on Monday, Mar. 25.
Sedalia Police arrested Robert Anderson for having three warrants totaling over $3,500 in bonds.
Sedalia Police arrested Steven Sei for receving stolen property, displaying plates of another vehicle and operating a vehicle without a valid license.
Sedalia Police arrested Gloria Gloria Kinder for stealing a 42-in.Sanyo TV, TV stand and a Mizzou cooler, all valued at $572.76, from Walmart.
