The following crime reports are from the afternoon of Mar. 7, 2013.

26-year-old Sedalia man arrested this (Thursday) morning during a traffic stop

Just after 6:00  this (Thursday) morning, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at 7th and Wagner with a defective tail light. The police report states upon contact with the occupants of the vehicle, one of them gave officers a false identity to avoid arrest on a failure to appear warrant out of Sedalia. Arrested at the scene was 26-year-old Brandon Ulmer of Oak Grove, Mo. At the time of the police report, Ulmer was on 24-hour hold in the Pettis County jail pending a $200 cash only bond on the warrant and the filing of state charges for identity theft.

Sedalia man arrested on three outstanding warrants Wednesday night

At 7:50 Wednesday night, Sedalia police conducted a warrant check at an apartment in the 200 block of South Quincy. Upon contact with the suspect, 25-year-old McKesa Manion of Sedalia, three warrants were confirmed. Manion was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a total of $3000 bond on the warrants.
