Angry suspect breaks woman's window when denied entry

On Thursday afternoon, Sedalia police were called to an apartment in the 2400 block of West Main on a property damage complaint. Upon arrival, the complainant told officers a suspect came to the residence and became angry when he wasn't allowed inside. The suspect broke a window valued at $125 before fleeing the area. The police report states the suspect had not been located at the time of the police report.

Local business reports the theft of an expensive tool

Just before 4:00 Thursday afternoon, Sedalia police responded to Clark Tools at 2907 West Broadway on a theft complaint. Upon arrival, the female caller told officers a female suspect came into the store, and when she left, a box that had contained a ½ inch drive impact wrench valued at $160 was empty. At the time of the police report, the suspect had not been located.

Thieves target a truck behind a local Donut Shop Thursday morning

At 10:00 Thursday morning, Sedalia police took a theft and property damage complaint from a victim. According to the victim, someone broke a window of his truck parked behind the Donut Palace at 2121 West Broadway and stole two Crown Royal bags containing between $30 and $40 in change. The thieves also damaged the frame of the door with the item used to break the window. There were no suspects at news time.
