Concordia woman finds the tailpipe of her vehicle stuffed with hair

On Monday afternoon, a Concordia woman filed a property damage complaint with the Sedalia Police Department. According to the victim, when she came out of the Pettis County Juvenile Office at 403 South Lamine, she saw what appeared to be human hair or possibly wig hair sticking out of the tail pipe of her vehicle. She was told by a mechanic the tail pipe would need to be removed to get the hair out. The woman told officers she works for the Children’s Division and believes the incident could be someone’s attempt at getting back at her. There are no suspects.

Benton County accident injures a 63-year-old Warsaw woman Wednesday

Around 2:30 Wednesday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol along with the Benton County Sheriff’s Office reported a two-vehicle accident on Highway 65 at Osage Bridge in Benton County. The accident reportedly occurred as a 2013 Chrysler 300 driven by 70-year-old Nicholas Moorer of Warsaw was traveling slowly through a construction zone, when a 2002 Chevy S-10 driven by 24-year-old Kelly Estes of Warsaw failed to slow down and struck the Moorer vehicle in the rear. A passenger in the Moorer vehicle, 63-year-old Tamantha Cosgrove of Warsaw, received minor injuries and was transported by EMS to Golden Valley Hospital for treatment.

19-year-old driver suffers minor injuries in an accident in Henry County

On Wednesday, the Missouri State Highway patrol reported that 19-year-old Brandon Pemburlin of Richmond suffered minor injuries when he lost control of his vehicle on Missouri Highway 13 South of County Road Southeast 400 in Henry County. According to the accident report, Pemburlin’s 2005 Dodge traveled off the roadway and overturned, causing extensive damage to the vehicle. Pemburlin was wearing his seatbelt and suffered only minor injuries in the rollover accident.  He was taken to Golden Valley Hospital for treatment.
