The following Sedalia Police crime reports and Missouri State Highway Patrol accident reports are from the afternoon of Nov. 19, 2013.

Stolen vehicle reported on East 5th this morning

Around 5:30 this morning, the Sedalia police took a stolen vehicle complaint from a female victim in the 700 block of East 5th. The woman told officers her 2008 Ford Escape valued at $16,000 was stolen. The police report states the vehicle had been located in an alleyway in the 600 block of West Broadway prior to the filing of the theft report. The vehicle was returned to the owner and there were no suspects at newstime.

66-year-old Clinton woman suffers serious injuries in rollover accident

At 3:30 Monday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on County Road 400 East of County Road Southeast 1051 in Henry County. According to the report, the accident occurred as the 1979 Jeep driven by 66-year-old Dennis Huggins of Clinton traveled off the roadway and overturned, ejecting the passenger, 66-year-old Ethel Snider, also of Clinton. Snider was not wearing a seat belt and received serious injuries in the accident. She was transported by Life Flight to Research Medical Center in Kansas City for treatment.

Pettis County accident reported East of Sedalia Monday morning

Around 11:00 Monday morning, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an accident that occurred on Pony Path Road East of Lamms Road in Pettis County. The accident occurred as the 2005 GMC driven by 61-year-old Lowell Corbett of Sedalia traveled off the roadway and struck a ditch. Corbett was wearing his seat belt and received only minor injuries. He was taken to Bothwell Hospital for treatment.
