SPD reports 12-28-16

Sedalia Police arrested Steven Joseph Smith, 49, after officers responded to the 1300 block of E. Broadway on a disturbance Tuesday. The victim was allegedly punched in the face. Smith was transported to the Pettis County Jail, charged with 3rd degree Domestic Assault, booked & released pending the filing of state charges.

Leah F. Ferolito, 32, Sedalia, was arrested for 2nd degree Domestic Assault after she allegedly choked a victim and attempted to hit him with a meat tenderizer Tuesday night. Ferolito was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24 hour hold, pending the filing of state charges.

Lachelle R. Flores, 34, was arrested for being a Fugitive From Justice after officers responded to a 911 hangup in the 800 block of N. Osage Tuesday night. Flores was wanted on an Iowa warrant for fraud. Flores was transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Brady Alan Allred, 25, Sedalia, was arrested on a no-bond Probation Violation warrant on Tuesday morning. Allred was transported to the Pettis County Jail. His court date is pending.

Truman Inn, 3501 W. Broadway, reported that three fake business checks were cashed as payroll checks at the bank inside the Sedalia Wal-Mart, 3201 W. Broadway, one on Dec. 17 and on on the 19th totaling $966.

On Tuesday, Charles Pyle reported that a Realtor's box was ripped off a house at 255 E. Jackson. The box was last seen when the Realtor did a walk-through inspection. There is a suspect in the case.

Tony A. Homan reported that someone broke out the front left window on his 2000 Chevy Cavalier while it was parked on the Inter-State Studios lot, 3500 Snyder Ave., on Monday night. Nothing was taken in the incident and no replacement value was given for the window.

Amy Irene Clark, 38, Sedalia, was issued a Municipal Court summons for Animals Running at Large on Monday. The report stated that the victim was bitten by her small dog.

DeLongs, Inc., 131 N. Harding Ave., reported that two batteries were stolen from a semi parked on the property over the holiday weekend. The batteries were valued at $348.

Michael Buso reported on Tuesday that someone stole $1,000 worth of tools from his work vehicle while it was parked in the 1500 block of W. Main. There are no suspects in the case.

Pettis County Sheriff's deputies arrested Rodrigo Vazquez-Roriguez on charges of Driving While Revoked on Monday. He was booked and released on a summons.
