SPD crime reports

Sedalia Police arrested Brianna N. Johnson, 32, Sedalia, on Sunday on a parole violation after an officer observed her get into a vehicle in the 1600 block of S. Osage. The car was stopped at 14th and Ingram, where a computer check revealed the parole violation. Johnson was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $250 cash bond.

On Sunday night, Sedalia Police took a report of property damage to a vehicle parked in front of a residence in the 400 block of E. 6th Street. The letters SSLC CRIP” were spray painted in blue on the driver's side, according to the report, causing $700 of damage.

Kevin Joseph Hontz, 27, Sedalia, was arrested at 2:51 a.m. Monday at 4th and Engineer after a traffic stop on a Pontiac. Hontz was charged with Driving While Suspended. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.

Kayla M. Pruett, 22, Sedalia, was arrested on a Pettis County warrant after a vehicle stop at 3rd and Engineer Sunday evening.

Villiam A. Izoita, 19, Hughesville, was arrested for Driving While Suspended and Speeding near 16th and New York Saturday morning. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.

A citizen found a rifle in the 900 block of E. 7th and turned it in to Sedalia Police on Sunday afternoon. A computer check of the serial number did not reveal the name of the owner, the report said. The rifle was placed into SPD's evidence storage.

Breaktime, 808 E. Broadway, reported a gas drive-off on Friday. The suspect was described as white male in his teens or early 20s, driving a small, dark vehicle. Police have identified a possible suspect and the investigation is ongoing.
