Sedalia Police crime reports 7-18-17

Jeffrey Tyler Lindemeyer, 28, Sedalia, was arrested after a traffic stop on a tan Ford Taurus near 4th and Moniteau at 1:01 a.m. Tuesday. He was charged with receiving stolen property under $150, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of meth. The plates on the vehicle he was driving were reported stolen, according to the report. The suspect claimed he found them in a dumpster. Lindemeyer was transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Christopher Edward Murray, 40, Sedalia, was arrested on a Pettis County warrant Sunday afternoon in the 500 block of S. Kentucky. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $1500 cash or surety bond, with a court date pending.


 

James W. Cramer, 29, Warsaw, was arrested on two probation violations out of Pettis County on Sunday. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $1,000 cash bond.


 

Jose A. Villafana, 30, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Revoked after a traffic stop at 16th and Ohio at 4:21 a.m. Sunday on a gray 2012 Chevy pickup. Villafana was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released, pending the filing of a Municipal charge. He has a Sept. 6 court date.


 

Cynthia Lou Harding, 18, Sedalia, was charged with 3rd Degree Domestic Assault after Sedalia Police responded to a call of a suicidal subject with a knife in the 900 block of E. 10th. According to the report, the suspect cut her ex-boyfriend. Harding was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of a stage charge of domestic assault.


On Friday (July 14), American Auto Rental, 2101 S. Limit, reported that someone rented a car and failed to return it. Investigation is ongoing.


 

On Saturday (July 15), Carol J. Green reported the theft of clothing, money and a notebook, collectively valued at $252, in the 500 block of W. 7th. Police were unable to locate the suspect.


 

On Saturday (July 15), Susan Renee Sheppard reported that a suspect scammed her out of $1,000.


 

On Sunday (July 16), Marilyn A. Ehlert reported her license plates were stolen from her vehicle parked in a garage in the 800 block of W. Broadway. There are no suspects.


 

On Sunday (July 16), Casey's General Store, 3050 S. Limit, reported a $35.17 gas drive-off. According to the report, the suspect was driving a white truck pulling a trailer with lawn-mowing equipment.


 

On Monday, a resident flagged down police and said he found a broken meth pipe, wrapped in a rag, lying on the sidewalk at 10th and Massachusetts. The officer destroyed and disposed of it.


 

And the Pettis County Sheriff's Office has reported the arrest of Austin D. Monteer on Pettis and Johnson county warrants on Monday.
