Sedalia Police Reports 11-25-16

 
Sedalia Police arrested Derek Scott Marquess, 30, and Ashley N. Gonnerman, 22, after a warrant check in the 1300 block of Walker Circle Wednesday. Marquess' state bond was $7,500, cash or surety, plus a $100 Municipal bond, while Gonnerman's bond was $5,000 cash or surety. They both have a Nov. 29 court date.

Dustin Alan Lappat, 35, was arrested on a Pettis County warrant after Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of W. 7th Wednesday. He now has a Nov. 29 court date. Bond was $1,000.

Abraham Quetzecua, 19, Sedalia, was arrested after a traffic stop at Pettis and Washington on a Municipal warrant Wednesday at 11:21 p.m. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $50 bond. He has a Jan. 4 court date.

Danielle L. Paige, 35, Sedalia, was arrested at Wal-Mart Thursday on two probation violation warrants. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail with a court date pending.

Kenkori L. Grant, 34, was arrested for Driving While Revoked, Resisting Arrest and Speeding at 2:40 a.m. Friday near 14th and Brown. He was observed speeding near 16th and Brown and after officers stopped him, he fled on foot. He was apprehended after a short foot pursuit, the report said. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending state charges.

Diane Kay Downs Short, 29, Pettis County, was arrested for an assault that occurred near Brian's Gym, 1400 South Limit, on Tuesday night. Two adults were arguing over a child when Sedalia Police arrived. The suspect slapped the victim, the report said, adding that both parties received injuries, but refused medical treatment. Short was issued a Municipal summons for a Jan. 18 court date.

Sheri Maxine Law, 53, and Scott L. Mather, both of Sedalia, was arrested for peace disturbance after an incident in the 200 block of S. Ohio just after 7 Tuesday evening. According to the report, two neighbors from downstairs came and damaged the caller's wreath on the door.

Elena G. Hickman, 49, homeless, was arrested after a Sedalia Police officer, exiting the Pettis County Jail, observed someone screaming and yelling near Coach's Bar, 303 S. Lamine, just after 7 Tuesday evening. Hickman was charged with violating the city's loud noise ordinance and possessing an open container of alcohol. She was placed into 12-hour custody.

Christopher Wayne Hickey, 43, Sedalia, was arrested for Failure to Appear Tuesday afternoon in the 1200 block of S. Carr. Hickey now has a court date of Dec. 7. Bond was $90.50.

Mark L. Hudiburg, 60, Sedalia, was arrested near 4th and Emmet on two active warrants Thursday evening at 8:43 p.m. One bond was $150 and the other one was $2,000 cash and $2,500 surety. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Alando E. Harker, 38, was arrested near 5th and New York after Sedalia Police stopped a car that was reported stolen Wednesday night. The driver was found to be revoked with several convictions. Harker was then transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Police took a theft report from Gregory N. Meloncon on Wednesday afternoon. According to the report, the rear license plate on his 2016 Ford F-140 was stolen while he stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, 4001 W. Broadway.

Moises Martinex-Rivera reported the theft of a stove from the residence in the 800 block of E. 5th on Wednesday afternoon. The stove was valued at $50. There are no suspects.
