A 31-year-old woman was arrested by Sedalia Police on Sunday night after they responded to a report of an unconscious person in a vehicle. According to a Sedalia Police Report, officers were called just before 11 p.m. to Taco Bell where an unconscious person was reported in a vehicle in the drive-thru lane. Police say Tracy Bartel was found to be in possession of controlled substances. Bartel was arrested for Possession of Synthetic Narcotics, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.


 

Sedalia Police arrested a 27-year-old man with a First Degree Burglary warrant from Pettis County on Sunday. Police say Christopher Clough was observed walking in the area of Broadway and Engineer. Clough reportedly ran after being contacted by police, and was arrested after a short foot pursuit. In addition to the original warrant, police are also seeking charges of resisting arrest. Clough was placed on a 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police received a call from Children's Mercy Hospital just before 2 a.m. on Sunday, reporting a sex crime. Police say an investigation is ongoing.


 

A 45-year-old woman was arrested Sunday around 1 pm after police responded to a call of a woman urinating in an alley. Police say they stopped 45-year-old Glyness Williams, who matched the description of the suspect, and found her to be in possession of an open bottle of vodka. Williams was arrested for Open Container and taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center to be checked because her intoxication level was so high, according to police.
