Sedalia Police arrested 18-year-old Easter R. Galloway of Sedalia Tuesday night at 8:11 p.m. She was an occupant in a vehicle that was stopped by police at North Grand and Morgan. A computer check revealed she was wanted on a Municipal FTA warrant for possession of marijuana. Galloway was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $150 cash or surety bond. She now has a Nov. 14 court date.


 

Sedalia responded to a domestic disturbance call in the 1900 block of South Ingram around 4:15 Tuesday afternoon. Officers made contact with a male and female outside the residence. According to a report, the female had minor injuries, but refused medical treatment on the scene. After investigation, the male, 29-year-old Rusty S. Hayworth of Sedalia, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold. His bond amount and court date were to be determined.


 

On Tuesday morning, a woman reported a burglary that occurred in the 300 block of E. 11th. According to the report, while she was walking her dog, someone entered her residence and stole $1,102 in cash and various items. A possible suspect was named, but not yet located at the time of the report.


 

On Tuesday morning, property damage was reported at Clover Dell Park, 4001 W. 32nd. According to the report, someone did doughnuts with their vehicle near the disc golf course, causing ruts in the grass.


 

On Tuesday, a woman reported the theft of a trike, valued at $250, from the 100 block of South Park. There are no suspects.


On Tuesday, Sedalia Police took a property damage report at West 50 Self Storage, 842 Mitchell Road. An investigation showed that a trespassing had occurred there. Suspect information was supplied to police.


 

On Tuesday, WalMart, 3201 W. Broadway, reported the theft of a $25 bottle of alcohol from the store. Suspect information was supplied to Sedalia Police. Management is willing to prosecute.


 

On Monday night around 10 p.m., Sedalia Police took a property damage report from a man who said someone cut a tire, valued at $108, on his truck and also stole several items in the 600 block of E. 9th. A suspect was named, but not yet contacted at the time of the report.


 

On Monday, a man reported a theft from the 3500 block of Green Ridge Road to police. Taken were two air compressors, two paint sprayers, a Sander shop vac and a 120,000 BTU kerosene space heater. There are no suspects.


 

On Monday, a woman reported a burglary to Sedalia Police. According to the report, the burglary took place between 11 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Monday at 421 E. 3rd. Taken was a 42-inch Hitachi TV, valued at $150, from her residence. There are no suspects.


 

On Tuesday, a woman found a bike at the Edward Jones office at 716 W. 16th. The bike, a boys 20-inch Next bicycle, white with gray and red accents, was placed into the SPD's bike shed.


 

On Tuesday, a man reported finding a wallet at 16th and Ohio. The wallet was placed into evidence. Efforts to reach the owner were unsuccessful.
