Sedalia Police reports 9-20-16
Timothy P. Cota, Jr., Sedalia, was arrested on seven charges after a traffic stop for expired registration at Broadway and Quincy on Monday night. He was charged with Failure to Register with the DOR, No Proof of Insurance, Failure to Appear-Misdemeanor, Failure to Appear Upon Arrest or Summons, Possession of Synthetic Narcotics, Introducing Contraband Into a Jail, and “Abuse & Lose” Drug Possession and Operating a Motor Vehicle Over 21. His bond was $150 for a Knob Noster warrant and $150 on a Municipal warrant.

Andrew J. Byrd, Sedalia, was arrested after he was stopped for riding a motorcycle without a helmet on Monday afternoon near 9th and Osage. He was also wanted on two misdemeanor warrants out of Pettis County. His bond was $160.
Chelsea Jean Stone, 27, Sedalia, was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle accident that occurred Saturday late Saturday night at Main and Grand. According to the report, the driver left the roadway and struck a telephone pole. A field sobriety test later revealed intoxicants. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail.

A hair stylist is seeking charges against a customer she worked on after cutting and coloring her hair at 1430 Thompson. According to the report, on Sept. 9, the customer received services and was about to pay when they realized the credit card reader was out of service. The customer was told to come back the next day and pay, but the customer never showed up again. Repeated attempts to contact the suspect were unsuccessful until Sept. 14, when she said she would not be in to pay for the service.

Three individuals reported thefts and property damage at Main Street Storage, 1720 W. Main, on Monday. A suspect has not yet been located.

Police took a found GMC Denali bike into evidence Sunday in the 1000 block of S. Kentucky.
