Sedalia Police crime reports 9-27-18

Sedalia Police arrested 31-year-old Zachery R. Schlotterbeck of Windsor after conducting a traffic stop on a tan 2011 Chevy truck for speeding in a school zone at 11:44 a.m. at 16th and Barrett Wednesday. A computer check revealed Schlotterbeck was wanted on warrants out of Cooper County and Bates City Police. He was taken into custody and booked at the Pettis County Jail on a total bond amount of $350. His court date is to be announced.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a purple Chevy Camaro with Wisconsin plates at Pettis and Mill just before 11 a.m. Wednesday. A computer check revealed the driver, Eric L. Swigert, 30, Sedalia, was driving while suspended. He was also wanted on 10 FTA Municipal warrants for driving while suspended. He was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold with a total bond of $150.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 32-year-old Eric Sean Archibeque of Sedalia after a traffic stop at Pettis and Mill on a yellow Chevy S-10 for speeding 30 mph in a 20 mph zone on Wednesday just after 10 a.m. A computer check revealed he was driving while suspended. Archibeque was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail with a Nov. 14 court date.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at 7:20 p.m. Wednesday for improper registration at 131 S. Harding. The driver, 23-year-old Kourtney J. Parker of Sedalia, was found to be driving without a valid license. She was also wanted on a misdemeanor Pettis County warrant for driving with a valid license. Parker was taken to the Pettis County Jail with a $150 cash bond.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 41-year-old Crystal G. Johnson of Sedalia after a traffic stop near 5th and Grand at 7:23 p.m. Wednesday. Johnson was found to have a Municipal warrant. She was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail with a $150 cash or surety bond. She now has a Nov. 7 court date.


 

Sedalia Police responded to a non-injury accident at 16th and McDonald's Avenue Tuesday at 4:49 p.m. One of the drivers involved was found to be driving while suspended. 23-year-old Tracey N. Walker of Sedalia also had no proof of insurance. Walker was taken to the SPD and later released with citations. She now has an Oct. 17 court date.


 

On Wednesday, a woman reported that someone entered her residence in the 900 block of Olsen and took a suitcase containing clothing, medications and a Samsung phone. The total value of the items taken is unknown. A suspect was named in the report, but denied any involvement in the incident.


 

On Wednesday, a woman reported someone reported the theft of lumber and a glass pane from a shed on her property in the 400 block of E. 3rd.


 

On Wednesday, Pettis County deputies responded to a report of a burglary at Church of the Open Bible on Route B. Investigation continues.
