Sedalia Police reports 2-28-17

Two were arrested after a traffic stop at 5th and State Fair Blvd., Saturday night at 8:50 p.m. Brittany Michelle Hall, 22, Smithton, was issued a Municipal summons for open container while Sonya M. Thomas, 20, Mora, was charged with minor in possession of alcohol and also issued a Municipal summons. Their court date is April 5.


Brock Adam Simon, 35, Sedalia, was arrested Sunday night after Sedalia police responded to a disturbance in the 1800 block of S. Kentucky. Simon was wanted on a Belton Police warrant (obstruction). He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $340 bond.


Dennis D. Haight, 37, Sedalia, was arrested Sunday evening on a Pettis County warrant (assault) as well as possession of marijuana and introducing contraband into a jail in the 2100 block of W. 10th Street after police responded to a harassment call.


Lachelle R. Flores, 34, Sedalia, was arrested at 11:14 p.m. Sunday night at 400 W. Henry on a Municipal warrant. Flores was transported to the Pettis County Jail and issued a $150 bond.


Richard D. Creach reported the theft of two aluminum baseball bats from his truck, which was parked in front of his home in the 900 block of Gregory. The theft, estimated at $310, occurred between 8:30 p.m. Sunday and 4:40 a.m. Monday, according to the report.


Brandon A. Stovall, 31, Sedalia, was arrested Sunday evening in the 200 block of E. 24th after officers responded to a verbal disturbance. Stovall was wanted on a Slater warrant and was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $466.99 bond, cash only.


Gire Ngizahayo, 19, Sedalia, was arrested on a Pettis County warrant after Sedalia Police responded to a report of drug activity in the 200 block of W. 6th Friday afternoon. Ngizahayo was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $150 bond.


Donald Ray Lutjen, Jr., Sedalia, was arrested on a Pettis County warrant Saturday morning in the 200 block of S. Quincy. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail in a $100 cash bond. He now has a court date of March 8.


Beverly J. Crawford reported a hit-and-run accident involving her 2008 Hummer which occurred at 13th and Hancock Friday. The Hummer was struck in the rear passenger quarter panel, bumper and taillight. There are no suspects.


Stanley L. Withrich, Sedalia, reported the theft of a $300 chainsaw on Friday afternoon. There are no suspects.


Police took a report on Saturday that occurred sometime over the last three months involving property totaling $1,100 in the 200 block of S. Moniteau. There are no suspects.


BreakTime, 318 W. Broadway, reported a $25.72 gas drive-off on Feb. 23 involving a white male driving a white SUV.
