Sedalia Police arrested Nathaniel Lee Willis, 36, Sedalia, after officers conducted a warrant check in the 1000 block of South Vermont Monday. According to the report, one of the two subjects wanted refused to come out when officers arrived. The other one was found hiding in a bedroom closet. Kimberly Sue Ballenger, 37, homeless, was also arrested. They were transported to the Pettis County Jail. She was wanted on three warrants.


Brandon J. Edmisten, 24, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended after a traffic stop at 16th and Engineer just after 11 p.m. Monday. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail for a 24-hour hold pending the filing of formal charges.


Angel Escobar, 18, Sedalia, was arrested on three FTA charges after a traffic stop at 2nd and Winchester on a white Cougar for expired plates Thursday afternoon. Escobar was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $650.50 bond and a court date of Feb. 7. According to the report, Escobar also provided a false ID to the officer.


On Monday afternoon, Amber M. Lawson reported that one of her license plates were stolen in December. There are no suspects.
