SPD crime reports 4-4-17

Sedalia Police arrested Michael David Rackham, 38, Sedalia, for Driving While Revoked after a traffic stop at 12:51 a.m. on Tuesday at Broadway and Kentucky on a white Chevy Cobalt. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.


 

Kennon Lee Charles, 24, Sedalia, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after Sedalia Police conducted a subject check at 713 E. Broadway on Tuesday morning just before 9 a.m. A subsequent consent to search revealed the drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.


 

Michael A. Friese, 41, Sedalia, was arrested for violation of an ex parte at 10:43 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the victim said the suspect came to her front door and attempted to talk to her. He was later located and admitted that he did contact her. Friese was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of state charges.


 

Gavin Lynn Kindle, 17, Sedalia, was arrested for possession of marijuana afrer Sedalia Police checked on a vehicle parked at a closed business at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. The officer noticed an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Kindle was arrested and then released on summons.


 

On Sunday evening, Patrick M. Sublett reported the theft of his TV, radio, DVD player and pink handcuffs from his residence in the 1600 block of E. Broadway. The theft occurred between noon and 6:21 p.m. April 2.


 

Freddy's, 3171 W. Broadway, reported a possible scam that occurred in the drive-thru on April 1. The suspect ordered food, then canceled, then stated the employee didn't give them the correct amount back.

 

On April 1 at 11:35 p.m., at Best Western, 32nd and Limit, police took a report from Makenzie and Madelyn Pettig, who claims they had items valued at $350 stolen from their room. There are no suspects in the case.


 

Levi D. Wiese, 22, Butler, Mo., was arrested after he was escorted out of the MMA fights at the fairgrounds on March 25. He then refused to leave, and was then placed into protective custody and taken to the SPD, until sober relatives could come pick him up.


 

On April 1, Rebecca D. Crum reported the theft of $200 worth of items from her residence in the 1100 block of E. 7th. The theft occurred between 9 p.m. March 31 and 7 p.m. April 1.


 

Ashley N. Osborn, 28, Clinton, was arrested at the Sedalia Wal-Mart, 3201 W. Broadway, at 6:25 a.m. April 2. She was wanted on a warrant out of Clinton. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $492 cash bond.


 

Woods Express reported a gas drive-off that occurred at 10:56 a.m. April 1. The suspect was a white female driving a black Cadillac. She allegedly left without paying for $10.01 of fuel.
