Sedalia Police Reports 11-7-16

Nathan M. Smith, 21, was arrested behind 814 E. 10th Street Saturday afternoon after it was discovered he was wanted on two probation violation warrants out of Pettis County. His bond was set at $100,000 cash or surety.

William D. Ross, 32, was arrested in the 1800 block of South Kentucky after Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance call there at 1:36 am. Monday. The suspect was asked to leave, but then later returned, gathered some thing, threw them on the front porch and left again. He also threw trash on the street twice. The second time, he was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 12-hour hold due to his intoxication. He was also charged with littering. He now has a court date of Dec. 6.

Carla S. Stephens, 43, was arrested for Failure to Appear-Misdemeanor after Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of South Grand Sunday night. Stephens was wanted on a Cole County warrant on an original charge of making a false report. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $1,000 bond, cash or surety.

Bailey Austeen Adams, 19, Smithton, was arrested after Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance call at McDonald,s 1611 S. Limit, on Sunday night. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $50 bond.

Aricka M. Johnson, 28, Concordia, was arrested for Failure to Appear Upon Arrest or Summons after a traffic stop on a white Chevy with expired plates. She has a court date of Dec. 14. Bond was set at $50.

Casey's, 716 W. 16th, reported that three males entered the business around 2 a.m. Monday and stole a beanie hat, valued at $9.99. Sedalia Police have identified possible suspects.

A victim at Comfort Inn, 3600 W. Broadway, reported the theft of his wallet, driver's license, Social Security Card and cash from an unlocked vehicle while parked at the motel overnight Saturday. There are no suspects.

A victim at Econolodge, 3501 W. Broadway, reported the theft of cas and a passprort for a vehicle parked overnight there on Saturday.

Jane Patricia Stevenson reported on Saturday that someone used her debit card to make a $96.96 purchase.

Police took a vandalism report in the 1200 block of E. 14th Sunday morning. According to the report, someone sliced thr right rear tire on the victim's 2014 Nissan Versa while it was parked in the driveway behind the residence. There are no suspects or witness in the case.

Samantha Shaden reported that she had been bitten by her pet rat early Monday morning. Police responded to the Bothwell Regional Health Center ER just after 1:30 a.m.
